The Oregon Division of Financial Regulation adopted rule ID 13-2018: Flood Insurance Producer Continuing Education Requirements. It amends OAR 836-071-0215 Continuing Education Requirements for Insurance Producers and creates continuing education requirements for flood insurance producers. The rule is effective August 16, 2018.
Reading in part "(2) For each two year renewal period...(c) For a producer that negotiates, sells, or solicits flood insurance, at least two credit hours of continuing education on any combination of the following subjects: current state and federal laws relating to flood insurance, the National Flood Insurance Program, or private flood insurance."
