All surplus lines tax payment checks MUST be made payable to the "Oregon Department of Consumer & Business Services".

This is effectively immediately.  Tax checks made out to the Insurance Commissioner will no longer be accepted by the State of Oregon.  Please update your system (s) to reflect this information.
